Datalife Engine Administration is the backend script control, in Admin CP, you can manage, configure, edit, modify, disable, enable and remove all functions of Datalife Engine, in this article we will show you the overviews of Datalife Engine Administrations, and we will go and overview one by one administration options in the new tutorials... Access to Datalife Engine Administration is simple and easy, if you login to your website and your account have the permission to access to Admin CP, you will see the link to access to Admin CP directly from there, the Admin CP link url is depending on what name of admin.php you rename to, otherwise the default is admin.php, you can also type in the admin.php (or whatever name you rename to) in your browsers like http://emongol.mn/admin.php
One great feature of the Datalife Engine is that it is possible to use any existing designs without limitations. The Datalife Engine supports multiple templates simultaneously. All templates are in the folder /templates/. Each subfolder in this folder is a separate layout or block of the site. So if you downloaded a new skin for the Datalife Engine, just copy it to a folder and allow its use by setting in the Administration Control Panel. Also, you can allow for changing the design of your website to users/visitors and they will be able to choose their own favorite themes/skins. You can also set the number of articles that appear on the main front page for this go to the System Settings and select the appropriate option.Datalife Engine allows you to automatically identify how the visitor comes to your website. And if the user comes to your site from your mobile device like Smartphone or iPhone etc., the DataLife Engine is able to recognize it and prepare for the special lightweight version of your site, with a minimum of graphics and used to carry traffic.
To enable this feature, Login to your Admin CP and go to System Settings, the configuration is located under Smartphone tab: Add automatic support for Smartphones, the settings, you can also turn include pictures in the news output on or off. You can try to view your website to dispaly Smartphones version using regular browsers from any computers, you just need to link http://website.com/index.php?action=mobile, Please note that your site must turn on Smartphone support to be able to view this mode otherwise the smartphones version will not show
Also in your templates folder /templates/ folder, you must include or upload the theme smartphone folder, this template used to display the site in case the user has logged onto your site using your mobile phone. In this template you can use all the features that included in the theme file by default. All tags and features are same as regular theme. But we recommend using the minimum tag to display and do not forget about the size of the mobile phone screen. In the archives of the distribution script when you donwload it, we provided a standard template with a minimum tags to show or display information and size. So if you create your own theme, we recommend that you can use it as reference so that you can serve your site visitors more effectively when visitors using smartphone devices to visit your site.
